Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Lyceum Protocol platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. The Platform is operated by Lyceum Protocol ("we," "us," or "our").

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Lyceum Protocol is a Learn-to-Earn education platform that enables cryptocurrency projects ("Deployers") to create branded educational academies. Students can complete courses and quizzes to earn rewards, including but not limited to EVM-based token rewards, experience points (XP), badges, and Soulbound Token (SBT) diplomas.

You may create an account using a compatible cryptocurrency wallet (via Sign-In with Ethereum) or through email and password registration. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your wallet private keys and account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access

We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account or wallet.

If you deploy an academy on the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and lawful educational content
• Maintain adequate token reserves in your academy treasury to fulfill promised rewards
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including securities laws
• Pay subscription fees in accordance with your selected tier
• Not use the Platform for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal purposes

Deployers are solely responsible for ensuring that the distribution of tokens through their academy complies with applicable laws. Lyceum Protocol does not provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice.

As a student using the Platform, you agree to:

• Complete quizzes and courses honestly and without manipulation
• Not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, or other automated means to earn rewards
• Not engage in reward farming, answer pattern exploitation, or any behavior designed to unfairly accumulate rewards
• Accept that rewards may be withheld or revoked if suspicious activity is detected

The Platform employs automated systems to detect and prevent reward abuse, including but not limited to behavioral analysis, IP monitoring, wallet clustering detection, velocity checks, and answer pattern detection. We reserve the right to:

• Block or restrict accounts exhibiting suspicious behavior
• Withhold, delay, or revoke rewards pending review
• Permanently ban accounts engaged in abuse
• Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities

These measures are applied at our sole discretion. Decisions regarding account restrictions and reward eligibility are final.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

• Token rewards distributed through the Platform are provided by individual academy Deployers, not by Lyceum Protocol
• Tokens are distributed exclusively on the Kasplex L2 zkEVM network (Chain ID 202555). We do not support or guarantee rewards on any other network
• Token values may fluctuate and may have no monetary value. We make no guarantees regarding the value, liquidity, or future utility of any tokens
• Soulbound Token (SBT) diplomas are non-transferable digital certificates recorded on-chain. They do not represent financial instruments or securities
• You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from receiving token rewards
• Rewards are not guaranteed and depend on academy treasury funding, your eligibility, and compliance with these Terms

Academy Deployers subscribe to tiered plans with pricing denominated in KAS (Kaspa). Subscription terms include:

• Monthly billing cycles anchored to the academy creation date
• A 3-day grace period for overdue payments before service suspension
• Automatic reactivation upon payment of overdue invoices
• No refunds for partially used billing periods

Course content uploaded by Deployers remains the intellectual property of the respective Deployer. By uploading content, Deployers grant Lyceum Protocol a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content through the Platform for the purpose of education delivery.

The Lyceum Protocol platform, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Lyceum Protocol and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written permission.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any loss of tokens, cryptocurrency, or digital assets
• We are not liable for smart contract failures, blockchain network issues, or transaction errors
• We are not liable for content provided by academy Deployers
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lyceum Protocol from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, any pending rewards may be forfeited. Deployers who are terminated will retain access to withdraw any remaining tokens from their academy treasury contracts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
